    Hi , i tried trouble shooting a misfire on a BMW 325i 2008 and was unable to do the live test on the ignition coils but could do it on the fuel injectors. I can perform this function on a E46 though. any advice?

    The BMW original diagnostic system works that way, so we work that way.

    thanx for your response, so to any clue on how to diagnose a coil pack failure?

    If you are talking about the ignition coil diagnostics, then you need a multmeter. Pls find out the specifications for our coil, either from your manufacturer, or from identifix, then use th multimeter to check if the value is in the range.
